Refund & Cancellation Policy — AiduEdSuite

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") applies to subscriptions to the AiduEdSuite service ("Service") operated by AIAWT APPS (sole proprietor), and forms part of our Terms of Service. Payments are processed by our payment gateway, Cashfree Payments. All amounts are in Indian Rupees (INR).

1. Free trial

• We may offer a free trial of AiduEdSuite for 14 days.
• No charge is made during the trial. You are not billed unless you choose a paid subscription.
• At the end of the trial, paid features require an active paid subscription. If you do not subscribe, your account may be limited, paused, or scheduled for deletion as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Subscription plans and billing cycle

• AiduEdSuite is sold on a subscription basis in tiers — Essential, Professional and Premier — billed on a recurring annual cycle (with a per-term option available), as selected at checkout.
• Fees are charged in advance for each billing cycle. Applicable GST/taxes are added as required.
• Unless cancelled, subscriptions renew automatically at the then-current price at the start of each new billing cycle. You authorize us and Cashfree to charge your saved payment method for renewals.
• We will make reasonable efforts to notify you before a renewal or price change takes effect.

3. How to cancel

• You may cancel your subscription at any time by:
• using the cancellation / billing option in your account settings, or
• emailing admin@aiawtapps.com from your registered email with your Institution name and account details.
• Effect of cancellation: cancellation stops future renewals. Your subscription remains active until the end of the current paid billing cycle, after which it will not renew and paid features will end.
• Cancelling does not, by itself, trigger a refund for the current cycle except as set out in Section 4.
• After your subscription ends, you may export or request deletion of your data as described in the Privacy Policy.

4. Refund eligibility

Because AiduEdSuite is a digital SaaS product delivered immediately and used continuously, refunds are limited as follows:

4.1 Trial period

No payment is taken during the free trial, so no refund is applicable for the trial itself.

4.2 Refund window for new subscriptions

• If you are charged for a new paid subscription and request a refund within 7 days of that charge and you have not made substantial use of the Service during that period, you may be eligible for a full or pro-rated refund at our reasonable discretion.
• "Substantial use" includes, for example, generating or exporting official documents (mark sheets, report cards, certificates, ID cards), running significant AiEng/OCR processing, or importing large volumes of records.

4.3 No refund after use / mid-cycle

• Except as stated in Section 4.2 or 4.4, fees are non-refundable, including for partially used billing periods, downgrades, or cancellation partway through a cycle.
• Renewals are generally non-refundable once charged; please cancel before your renewal date to avoid the next charge.
• Annual plans: after the applicable refund window, annual fees are non-refundable for the remainder of the term.

4.4 Billing errors and service failures

We will issue a full or appropriate refund where:

• you were charged in error or charged twice for the same period; or
• a confirmed, prolonged failure of the Service attributable to us prevented you from using a paid tier and we are unable to remedy it within a reasonable time.

4.5 Referral credits, discounts and promotional pricing

Referral credits, promotional discounts and free/complimentary periods have no cash value and are not refundable or exchangeable for money.

4.6 Taxes and gateway charges

Statutory taxes (e.g., GST) will be refunded in line with applicable law where the underlying fee is refunded. Any non-refundable third-party payment-gateway charges may be deducted where permitted.

5. How refunds are processed

• Approved refunds are made to the original payment method via Cashfree Payments.
• Refunds are typically initiated within 5–7 business days of approval; the time for funds to appear depends on your bank/card issuer.
• We may require identity/account verification before processing a refund.

6. How to request a refund

Email admin@aiawtapps.com from your registered email address with:

• your Institution name and account/registered email,
• the transaction/order ID and date, and
• the reason for the request.

We aim to acknowledge requests within 2 business days and to resolve them promptly.

7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date will reflect changes. The Policy in effect at the time of your transaction applies to that transaction.
